Marc Fater, MD
Marc C. Fater graduated cum laude from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Temple University Medical School, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He did his residency training in general surgery at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His residency in plastic surgery was at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Fater is board certified in and in plastic surgery. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He joined Cape Cod Plastic Surgery, Inc., in July, 1995. Dr. Fater has a particular interest in cosmetic, reconstructive and laser surgery. Additionally, he has broad experience in hand and pediatric plastic surgery. He has lectured nationally and internationally on a diverse range of topics including breast reconstruction, wound healing and treatment of congenital deformities. Dr. Fater has been published in several peer reviewed journals in general as well as plastic surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery.
Melanie Hacsunda, MA
Melanie is a licensed medical assistant who has managed our office since 1998. She has also taken the requisite course work and is now also a certified laser technician. In addition to office managerial responsibilities she runs our laser hair removal and facial rejuvenation clinic.
She keeps current with the latest techniques and laser interventions at yearly laser workshops.

Terri Geracie, RN
Terri has been with our practice for 5 years. For the last three years she has expertly run our in-office accreditated surgical suite as weel as our medical skin care clinic.
She has extensive training in both skin care and perioperative nursing. Her nursing degree is from Brockton Hospital School of Nursing. She has worked in the Plastic Surgery specialty for over 10 years. Terri is very concerned with current skin care treatment options and keeps abreast of the latest trends in topical skin care and laser therapy for skin.

Ann Dowd, CRNA
Ann is a licensed Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Massachusetts. She has been providing patients of Cape Cod Plastic Surgery, Inc. with high quality sedation for over 10 years. Ann brings several decades of experience to our practice. Outside of our suite, she also provides anaesthesia at several local hospitals and surgical centers. Ann is extensively trained in Nursing and perioperative anaesthesia. She monitors current trends in her field and is extremely sensitive to individual needs in sedation and pain control.
Rebecca Baker, Barbara Francke and Cynthia Bartos complete our office staff- providing friendly, courteous, and well-informed front office assistance.
